This is the first time an Indian top military officer has publicly considered India’s aircraft falling.
The Indian Army first admitted that its fighter jets were destroyed in Operation Sindoor against Pakistan. In an interview to Bloomberg in Singapore, the Chief of Defense Staff (CDS) Anil Chauhan said- The important thing is not that the jet aircraft was demolished, but the important thing is why it was demolished.
He called Pakistan’s claim absolutely wrong that he had killed 6 Indian fighter jets, although he refused to reveal how many aircraft India had lost.
General Chauhan said, why they fell, what mistakes have happened, this is important. He said, the numbers are not important. We are able to understand our mistake, solve it, improve it and then apply it again after two days and re -blow up all their jet aircraft by targeting long distances. General Chauhan also said- Nuclear war never came in the struggle with Pakistan.

During the Shangri-La dialogue, General Chauhan met defense officials from Japan, France, Germany, Britain, European Union and many other countries.
CDS Chauhan said- the round of better relationship with Pakistan is over
Earlier, CDS General Anil Chauhan attended the Shangri-La dialogue program held in Singapore. He said about relations with Pakistan that now India does not do any work without any strategy. He said that the period of maintaining diplomatic relations with Pakistan is over.
CDS Chauhan reminded how PM Modi had invited the then PM Nawaz Sharif of Pakistan in his first swearing in. He said that both hands are needed to clap, but if you get only enmity in return, then it is a wise decision to maintain distance.
CDS Chauhan said that when India got independence, Pakistan was ahead of India in many cases like social development, GDP or per capita income. Now the situation has changed. Now India is ahead on every front from Pakistan. General Chauhan said that this change is not because of any coincidence, but the result of a thoughtful strategy.
CDS said- India trusted its own technology in war
CDS General Anil Chauhan spoke on the theme ‘Future War’ during the Shangri-La dialogue in Singapore. He said that the war is no longer the same as before. Now wars are being fought in new areas such as cyber and space besides the ground, air, sea.
Giving the example of Operation Sindoor, General Chauhan said that India used its indigenous technology well during this period. He especially mentioned the ‘Akash’ missile system and the air defense network built in the country, in which a strong security structure was prepared by adding several radar systems. India did all this without depending on foreign companies.
He said that Pakistan may have used Chinese or Western satellite photographs, but India trusted its own technology. India raised the necessary network and radar system for the war by itself and it was our great success.

‘Chartil information and rumors big challenge in war’
CDS Chauhan said that there is another challenge in the war nowadays- wrong information and rumors. Even during Operation Sindoor, our soldiers had to give a lot of time to compete with fake news. He said that India’s strategy was to keep his point with firm facts without hasty.
Giving an example, he said that in the early days of the operation, two women officers were talking to the media, because at that time the senior officers were busy in the real operation.
On cyber war too, he said that even though the two countries have carried out cyber attacks on each other, India’s military systems are not connected to the Internet, they remained safe.
He said that India immediately retreated after the war, as keeping the army deployed for a long time is financially heavy and it affects development.
