In an old interview to Mashable India, the actor of Dhadak 2 revealed that the film was closed when he was just 21-22 years old. He said, ‘Whenever I looked in the mirror, I would see the same character. So I shaved my hair! This was a big shock for me. ‘ Well, as written in destiny, Siddhant made his debut in 2019 with the musical drama ‘Gully Boy’. Despite a successful beginning, he has still faced challenges. The actor had revealed that he was offered a character in Brahmastra Part 1, but he turned down. Because of this, he had to face a lot.

The actor sought a script from Ayan Mukherjee, who did not have a script as the film was in its early stage. He also argued with the casting director that no one notices him as a big name of Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt being part of the film. Well, he did not think that he would be ‘blacklisted’. The actor said, ‘I was infamous in the casting circuit that it does not speak and speaks. Who are you brother? Nevertheless, Siddhant did not give up and got a chance to work in films like ‘Gaheeiyaan’, ‘Kho Gaya Hum Kahan’, ‘Phone Bhoot’ and ‘War’. He will now soon appear in ‘Dhadak 2’ with Trupti Dimri. Directed by Shaji Iqbal, the film will be released on 2 August 2025.
