Regarding the attack, Joginder Basi said- My house was attacked on Monday 20th January as per Indian time. Thankfully, I and my family are completely safe in this incident. He also said- I am returning to India today. This attack was carried out before my return to India.
He further said- This attack has been carried out by none other than Khalistani miscreants. I have lodged a written complaint in this regard with the Toronto Police of Canada.
Let us tell you that Joginder Basi has already received death threats from Khalistanis. In India he is given protection by the Punjab Police. There is a security cordon with him all the time.

According to the information received, a few days ago some Khalistanis in Canada had insulted the Indian flag and tore the tricolor. Along with this, the accused also stepped on the said tricolor and raised slogans of Khalistan Zindabad. Joginder Basi had made a video regarding this entire matter and uploaded it on his YouTube. After which he has received the said threat.
During the radio show, Basi reprimanded those who insulted the Indian flag and said that those who have come from India and settled in Canada, their motherland is India and insulting the tricolor is equivalent to insulting their motherland.
Khalistanis are tearing their mother’s clothes after tearing the tricolor. Joginder Basi had recently broadcast on his radio the news of Khalistani supporter Gursewak Singh demanding ransom in Canada.
