Union Budget 2025: Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will present the Union Budget 2025 in Parliament on 1 February 2025. 1st February is Saturday and this time the budget will be presented on Saturday. This will be the second full budget of Modi government 3.0. Usually the budget starts at 11 am. This will be the eighth budget of Nirmala Sitharaman, in which till now she has presented five annual and two interim budgets. Stock markets will remain open on Saturday, February 1
Indian stock markets (BSE and NSE) will remain open on 1 February 2025, even though it is a Saturday, due to the budget announcement. Usually the markets are closed on Saturday and Sunday, but there will be a live trading session on the budget day. This has been confirmed in the circular issued by the stock exchange. The stock market will function as per its regular timing on Saturday.
