BSNL increased 4G connectivity, 93,450 new mobile towers installed

BSNL has targeted to set up 1 lakh new 4G mobile towers to improve its connectivity. The government telecom company has made 93,450 of these tower live. Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia has given this information. On the occasion of the theme launch of India Mobile Congress, the Union Minister has said this about the Commercial 4G of BSNL. The government telecom company can also start a 5G service trial from next month.

Target to improve network connectivity

BSNL users have steadily decreased due to better network connectivity of private telecom companies. However, BSNL’s usbase has increased after the recharge of private telecom companies became expensive last year. The Union Minister said at the theme launch of IMC 2025 held in New Delhi on Monday 26 May, “We have done the work of installing 93,450 towers, but still we have to go a long way.” We are moving towards achieving our goals. ‘

This year India Mobile Congress will be held from October 8 to October 11. The Union Minister has said to launch the BSNL 4G service in every telecom circle in the country. Transitioning 3G service of BSNL in 4G was a difficult task, which is now being completed.

The government telecom company is installing new mobile towers using indigenous technology under the self -sufficient Bharat Yojana. For this, the Central Agency C-DOT, Tejas Network, Tata Consultancy Service (TCS) and the Central Government are instrumental. The Union Telecom Minister said that for the last 22 months, all these four stake holders have been working together to improve BSNL’s connectivity.

This is said about satellite service

Union Communications Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia has also given important information in this event about satellite communication service in India. The Union Minister said that the process of giving spectrum license for satellite service will be completed soon on the basis of TRAI’s framework. Along with Airtel and Jio for satellite broadband service in India, foreign companies are also in the race. Alan Musk’s Starlink and Amazon Kuipar have sought approval from the government for the satellite broadband service in India.
