US President Donald Trump on Monday warned of strict economic sanctions on Russia. He said that if Russia does not compromise with Ukraine within 50 days, then it will be banned.
During the meeting with NATO general secretary Mark Roote at the Oval Office, Trump said that weapons would be sent to Ukraine as soon as possible.
Trump said- I am disappointed with President Putin. I thought we would compromise two months ago, but it did not happen. Trump also said that he is not getting caught in Putin’s game.
Describing Putin as a rigorous person, Trump said- he fooled Clinton, Bush, Obama and Biden, but not me.
Trump reported that Russia attacked Ukraine without provoking in 2022 and has now intensified the attacks amid peace talks.
Trump and Roote discussed a plan, in which the US would sell Patriot Air Defense Missiles to NATO member countries, which will later be given to Ukraine.
Trump told the media- we have completed the deal with NATO colleagues. We will send a lot of weapons and NATO countries will pay 100 percent of them.
