Pakistan is second in the Global Terrorism Index (GTI). According to the 2025 report, Pakistan has been described as the second most terror -affected country after Burkina Faso, while Syria is at number three.
According to a report released by Sydney -based Institute for Economics and Peace, there has been a rapid increase in terrorist incidents in Pakistan. There were 517 terrorist incidents in 2023, while in 2024 it increased to 1099.
In the report, Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan was described as Pakistan’s most dangerous terrorist organization for the second consecutive year. In 2024, the group carried out 482 attacks, causing 558 deaths, which is 91% higher than in 2023.
Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan are the most terrorist affected areas. Out of the total terrorist incidents across the country, 90% occurred in this area.

Trump stopped tariff on Mexico for 1 month, 25% tariff was imposed two days ago
