The news of the murder of a big Hindu leader has come to light in Bangladesh. According to media reports, this leader named Bhabesh Chandra Roy (58) was kidnapped from his house on Thursday afternoon and beaten to death.
Police said that he was a resident of Basudevpur village in Dinajpur, some 330 km from Dhaka. His body was found at 10 pm on Thursday night. He was the vice -president of a unit of Bangladesh Puja Udayapan Parishad. He had a major hold in the Hindu community of the area. The police is investigating the matter

74 people killed, more than 100 injured in US air strikes on Huti rebels
Huti rebels of Yemen killed 74 people in America’s air strike, while more than 100 people were injured. The air strike took place on the Port Ras Isa of an oil. The US Central Command has confirmed this strike, although they have not explained the correct figure of those who died.
Deaths in this attack may be the most deadly aerial action ever carried out by the US on Huti rebels, under the new campaign launched by US President Donald Trump on March 15.
The aim of this campaign is to weaken the Iran-backed Huti rebel group, which has attacked several American ships passing by Red C since the Israeli-Hamas War began in October 2023.
According to an associate press report, the Al-Masirah satellite news channel of the Huti rebels released a graphic video after the attack, in which the bodies scattered at the scene can be seen.
