5 people from Kerala have been reported dead in a bus accident in Nyhuuru area of Kenya. However, Nairobi -based Indian High Commission has not yet confirmed the official identity of the dead.
The accident occurred on June 9 at 7 pm Indian time (4:30 pm local time). There were a total of 28 Indian passengers in the bus, who went to Kenya from Qatar. This bus crashed while going to the tourist destination, about 150 km from Nairobi. According to local media reports, several other passengers have been injured, who have been admitted to nearest hospitals.
