Two Democratic MPs of Minnesota in the US were shot in their homes. Democratic State Representative Melissa Hortman and her husband Mark have died in the first incident.

In the second incident, Democratic State Senator John Hoffman and his wife Yeweight have been shot several bullets. Both are injured. Both have undergone surgery and doctors hope that they will survive.

This information is given by Minnesota Governor Tim Walz. He said that this attack seems to be done due to political reason.

Walj said that the police had received information about firing in two areas near Minianpolis – Champeline and Brooklyn Park. We are taking seriousness in the matter.
