Vantage Knowledge Academy Share: Vantage Knowledge Academy Limited is preparing to give dividend to its shareholders along with bonus issue. The Board of Directors of the company today declared its first interim dividend for the financial year 2024-25 on January 7. The company will issue a dividend of Rs 0.10 (10 percent of the face value) on each equity share to its shareholders. Meanwhile, a rise of 4.98 percent was seen in the company’s shares today. This stock closed at Rs 197.10 on BSE. The market cap of the company is Rs 2,243.49 crore.
The company will pay a total of ₹1.13 crore as dividend. Under this, the record date for determining eligibility has been fixed as January 17, 2025 and the dividend will be paid within 30 days.
Vantage Knowledge Academy also approved bonus issue in the ratio of 2:1. Shareholders will get two additional equity shares for every one share held. The company will use ₹22.76 crore from its free reserves for the bonus issue. This will increase the paid-up share capital from ₹11.38 crore to ₹34.15 crore.
Earlier it was announced that Vantage Knowledge Academy has entered into an agreement with Ryan Innovative Education Pvt. Ltd. Under this collaboration, Vantage will offer globally recognized professional courses such as CPA and CMA (USA) in India. Let us tell you that bonus shares are given free by a company to its existing shareholders. It is generally given to increase the earnings per share of the company, increase the capital base and reduce the free reserves.
