BJP gave new state presidents to three states

New Delhi: BJP on Friday gave new state president to three states. Lok Sabha MP Dilip Saikia was elected chief of BJP’s Assam unit. Meanwhile, former MLA Damodar Naik will be the next president of Goa BJP. MLA Kiran Singh Dev was elected state president of Chhattisgarh BJP.

Kiran Singh Dev became state president for the second time

According to the information, MLA Kiran Singh Dev was declared elected unopposed as the state president of the party for the second consecutive time on Friday. This announcement was made by BJP General Secretary Vinod Tawde. Dev, 63, thanked the party’s national and state leadership as well as its members for reposing faith in him. As a party leader of Bastar region, he once again considered it an honor to be given this responsibility. Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai, his cabinet colleagues and other senior party leaders were present at the function.

Damodar Naik becomes state president of Goa

Former Goa MLA Damodar Naik will be the next president of the state unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party. The party’s central election observer Sunil Bansal said the core committee met on Friday and unanimously decided to nominate 54-year-old Naik for the post. Bansal said Naik’s name would be formally announced on Saturday.

Dilip Saikia becomes BJP President of Assam

Meanwhile, Lok Sabha member Dilip Saikia was elected unopposed as the new president of the Assam unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Friday. Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, the returning officer for the elections for the post of state president, handed over the official appointment letter to Saikia. Saikia took over the command of the state unit from outgoing president Bhavesh Kalita in the same program. On this occasion, 23 names from the state were also announced in the National Council.

On this occasion, top party leaders including Union Minister Sarbananda Sonowal, Chief Minister Himanta Vishwa Sharma were present. Saikia sought cooperation from party workers and leaders for the development of the state. “We have to work together to include Assam among the top five states,” he said. I believe work should speak. He recalled that former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee had said that when darkness would disappear, the lotus (BJP’s election symbol) would bloom. “That dream has now become a reality and lotus is blooming all over the country,” he said.
