Talha Saeed was declared a global terrorist by the US Treasury Department in August 2012.
Hafiz Saeed’s son Talha Saeed accused former Pakistan Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto of insulting Pakistan at the global level.
In fact, Bilawal had said two days ago that Pakistan is ready to hand over Hafiz Saeed and Masood Azhar to India, provided India cooperate in this process.
Talha said that Bilawal’s statement is against Pakistan’s policy, national interest and sovereignty. He said- Can a leader talk about handing over his citizens to the enemy country?
Talha, who is a global terrorist himself, defended his father and said- no work of Hafiz Saeed is against Pakistan. Bilawal’s statement is going to discredit Pakistan’s image at global level.
Hafiz Saeed is serving a 33 -year sentence
According to Pakistan’s National Counter Terrorism Authority (NACTA), Pakistan has banned both Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jaish-e-Mohammed. Hafiz Saeed is considered the main face of Lashkar-e-Taiba. He is the mastermind of the 26/11 Mumbai attack.
Hafiz Saeed has been serving a 33 -year sentence for Terror Funding at Kot Lakhpat Jail in Lahore since 2019, while Global terrorist Masood Azhar has also been banned.
Asked about Hafiz Saeed and Masood Azhar’s whereabouts, Bilawal claimed that Hafiz Saeed is in jail, while there is no information about Masood Azhar, perhaps he is in Afghanistan.
In an interview to Al Jazeera, Bilawal said- If India gives information that Azhar is in Pakistan, Pakistan will be happy to arrest her.
Masood Azhar has been involved in terrorist attacks like 2001 Parliament attacks in India, 26/11 Mumbai attacks, 2016 Pathankot attack and 2019 Pulwama attacks. The United Nations declared him a Global Terrorist in 2019.
Hafiz Saeed is the mastermind of terrorist attacks in Mumbai on 26/11.
Azhar’s family was killed in Operation Sindoor
Bilawal’s statement came at a time when India destroyed many terrorist bases in Pakistan in Operation Sindoor two months ago. Masood Azhar’s family and 4 colleagues were killed in this attack.
According to media reports, Masood Azhar had issued a statement after this saying that if I had died, it would have been lucky. Those who died included her elder sister and her husband, Masood Azhar’s nephew and his wife, a niece of Masood and five of his children.
The statement also said that three close allies of terrorists Masood were also killed. Apart from these, the mother of a colleague also died.
Masood Azhar has been declared a global terrorist in 2019.
Azhar is the mastermind of the Parliament attack
Azhar is the mastermind of the 2001 Parliament attack. Apart from this, he was also involved in the 2016 Pathankot attack. According to the charge sheet of Delhi Police in this case, Masood used Jaish-e-Mohammed cadre for attacks on India. He also attacked Ram Janmabhoomi in Ayodhya in 2005 and CRPF personnel in Pulwama in 2019.
Apart from this, Masood is also responsible for the Uri attack in 2016 and an attack on Indian conceulate in Mazar-e-Sharif, Afghanistan. Azhar al-Qaeda Chief Osama bin Laden and Taliban founder Mullah Omar were special.
