This year, he also captained Desert Wipers in the final of the ILT20. However, he could not win the title.
SAM eager to lead Surrey
On becoming the captain, Karan said that he is feeling very proud and respect when he is appointed Surrey’s T20 captain. Karan is a known name in T20 cricket. He has scored more than 4000 runs in T20 cricket and scored his first T20 century in the Vitality Blast against Hampshire at Kia Oval last year. As a bowler, he has more than 250 T20 wickets. Since debuting in the year 2018, he has played more than 120 matches for England in all formats.
Tournament will be organized after IPL
The vitality blast in England will start from May 29 immediately after IPL 2025 this year. The Surrey team will take on Hampshire in a double-header match on Thursday 5 June. Surrey will try to start his campaign with victory. However, earlier Sam Karan would like to perform well for Chennai in IPL 2025 with both balls and bat.
