Bharti Airtel’s dividend will double in the current financial year and quadruple by FY27: HSBC – bharti airtel dividend to double in fy25 and quadruple by fy27 says brokerage firm hsbc

According to estimates by brokerage firm HSBC Global Research, the dividend per share of telecom company Bharti Airtel is expected to double in the financial year 2025 as compared to the previous financial year. Additionally, the company’s dividend is likely to quadruple in the next three years. The brokerage firm says that this will be possible due to the strong cash flow outlook and continuity in the company’s performance in its Indian operations.

The brokerage firm believes that Bharti Airtel’s dividend is expected to increase by 114% in FY 2025 and it may reach Rs 17.1 per share in FY 2025 from Rs 8 per share in FY 2024. According to HSBC Global Research, the dividend per share is expected to be Rs 22.7 per share in FY 2026 (33% increase annually), while in FY 2027 this figure will increase to Rs 34.1 (50% increase annually). May be per share. These estimates are 28-45 percent more than the common estimates for the financial year 2025-27.

HSBC says Bharti Airtel’s need to boost cash flow is linked to its promoter entity Bharti Telecom Ltd (BTL), whose debt levels have increased. Bharti Telecom Limited (BTL) holds 40.33% stake in Bharti Airtel. According to the brokerage firm’s estimates, BTL’s interest expense will reach approximately Rs 3,200 crore in FY 2026. Actually, the company had increased its stake in Bharti Airtel in November 2024 and for this its debt had increased.

HSBC says that assuming BTL’s finance costs are also covered in the dividend paid by Bharti Airtel in FY2025, Bharti Airtel’s dividend could rise to Rs 9,900 crore.
