Indian players are currently waiting for the Central Contract, which are given to them by the BCCI. Although it should have been announced already, but it is probably delayed due to some reasons. Right now the announcement has not been made by the BCCI, but a big and important news has definitely come out about it. It is learned that three players may have entry into the central contract.
Abhishek Sharma, Nitish Kumar Reddy and Harshit Rana can get Central Contract
It is learned that the Central Contract will be announced soon by the BCCI for Indian players. There is no possibility of much change in this, but some new and young players can be given place in it. The Cricbuj report has revealed that Abhishek Sharma, Nitish Kumar Reddy and Harshit Rana can be given a place in the Central Contract for the first time.
Abhishek is following the rules
Abhishek Sharma is being told that he can be included in the C grade. The BCCI rule is that whoever plays at least three Tests, eight ODIs or 10 T20 International matches within a fixed time, he automatically gets a place in the C grade. Abhishek Sharma is following this rule. He has played 12 T20 International matches within a fixed time. If we talk about Nitish Kumar Reddy, then he has also played Tests for India. He has played five Tests and four T20 International matches for India. That is, there should not be much questions about their place.
Harshit Rana and Varun Chakraborty are also strong contenders for entry
Apart from this, Harshit Rana’s entry doors are also seen opening. Harshit Rana has played two Tests, five ODIs and a T20 match for India so far. Although he has not been able to play enough matches within the stipulated time, but even after that he has played all three formats, so his entry should not be very difficult. Apart from this, Varun Chakraborty is also in the list of claimants, who have now played four ODIs and 18 T20 Internationals for the Indian team.
Shreyas Iyer also likely to return
The big news about the central contract is that Shreyas Iyer’s return is seen again. Which were excluded from it last year. Shreyas Iyer was seen playing for the Indian team in the Champions Trophy and scored the most runs for India throughout the tournament. Recently, the ICC also selected him for the Player of the Month for the month of March. That is, his entry again is almost confirmed.
Rohit, Kohli and Jadeja’s grade A Plus may remain intact
Talking about this time, Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Jaspreet Bumrah and Ravindra Jadeja are in A Plus category. Even though out of it, Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli and Ravindra Jadeja have announced retirement from T20 International, but even after that they can be kept in the same category, that is, the possibility of change is very low. It is believed that the Central Contract will soon be officially announced by the BCCI.
