Franchises have been allowed temporarily replacement for the final phase of the IPL 2025 season. But the players who will come as a replacement after stopping the IPL. He will not be able to retain next year and he will have to go to the auction.
Delhi Capitals connected Mustafizur Rahman with squad
Jake Fraser McGarks of Delhi Capitals and Jamie overton of Chennai Super Kings returned home and now both of these players will not return. He has informed his franchises about this. The Delhi team has included Mustafizur Rahman in the squad as a replacement of McGark, but according to the new rule, Delhi’s team will not be able to retain him for the next season.
It has also been clarified that the replacement which was approved before the IPL 2025 was stopped. They deserve to be retained for the next season. Four players were contracted 48 hours before the IPL was temporarily stopped. These include these from Adallah Atal (Delhi Capitals), Mayank Agarwal (Royal Challengers Bangalore), Luan-Dre Pytorius and Nandre Burger (both Rajasthan Royals).
