Bank of Baroda reduces interest on FD, millions of customers will get a shock – Bank of Baroda Fixed Deposit Interest Rate Decrease FD Rates Less Interest On Saving

Bank of baroda fd rates: Bank of Baroda has shocked its customers. BOB has once again reduced the interest rates on FD. Bank of Baroda had earlier reduced the interest rates on FD in April. Most banks are also decreasing interest on FDs due to reducing RBI repo rate. In April, most banks reduced interest on FDs. Now in May too, the period of reducing FD rates continues.

Bank of Baroda reduced interest rate on FD

BOB Bank has reduced FD interest rates to 0.10 per cent on some periods. The new rates of the bank have come into effect from 5 May 2025 today. BOB Bank is offering FDs ranging from 7 days to 10 years. These rates are being given on FDs of less than Rs 3 crore.

BOB’s interest on FD

7 days to 14 days – 4.00 percent for the general public; 4.50 percent for Senior Citizen

15 days to 45 days – 4.00 percent for the general public; 4.50 percent for Senior Citizen

46 days to 90 days – 5.50 percent for the general public; 6 percent for senior citizens

91 days to 180 days – 5.60 percent for the general public; 6.10 percent for Senior Citizen

181 days to 210 days – 5.75 percent for the general public; 6.25 percent for Senior Citizen

211 days to 270 days – 6.25 percent for the general public; 6.75 percent for Senior Citizen

271 days and above and less than 1 year – 6.50 percent for the general public; 7 percent for senior citizens

1 year – 6.80 percent for the general public; 7.30 percent for Senior Citizen

More than 1 year and less than 400 days – 6.80 percent for the general public; 7.40 percent for Senior Citizen

More than 400 days and up to 2 years – 6.80 percent for the general public; 7.40 percent for Senior Citizen

More than 2 years and up to 3 years – 7.00 percent for the general public; 7.50 percent for Senior Citizen

More than 3 years and up to 5 years – 6.80 percent for the general public; 7.30 percent for Senior Citizen

From more than 5 years to 10 years – 6.50 percent for the general public; 7.50 percent for Senior Citizen

More than 10 years (Court Order Scheme) – 6.25 percent for the general public; 6.75 percent for Senior Citizen

444 days – (Square Drive Deposit Scheme) – 7.10 percent for the general public; 7.60 percent for Senior Citizen
