Bank Holidays June 2025: The month of June has started. If you want to go to the bank branch and settle any of your work, then first know the list of bank holiday. Banks will remain closed for a total of 12 days in June. Out of this, six days are going to be closed due to their weekend holidays. These holidays include all Sundays, second and fourth Saturdays. Apart from this, the banks are going to be closed due to the last six days. In June, there are festivals like Puri Rath Yatra, Bakrid, due to which the branch will remain closed. This bank holiday will not be together in all states.
RBI decides bank holiday
Banks are declared under the Holiday Negotiable Instruments Act and these days there is no public transaction in the bank branch. Banks are closed on all Sundays and the second and fourth Saturdays of every month. Therefore, bank customers are advised to deal with their important work before the holidays, so that no problem has to be faced. A total of 12 days of banks will remain closed in June 2025. 27 June (Friday): Rath Yatra / Kang (Rathjatra) – Bank closed in Odisha and Manipur.
June 30 (Monday): Bank closed in REMNA NI – Mizoram.

During these holidays, digital service like net banking, mobile banking app, UPI, wallet and ATM will work as before. That is, you can make money transactions online. If you have to submit a check, make a draft, open an account or go to the branch for any other work, then try to deal with this work before the holiday.
