Bank holiday saturday 24 May 2025: If you are planning to do some work on Saturday 24 May 2025, then this news is necessary for you. On this day, banks will remain closed across the country as this is the fourth Saturday of the month. In such a situation, customers will not be able to get service related to branch and work can be done only through online banking.
When the banks are closed, you cannot do work in the bank branch like cash deposit or withdrawal, check clearing, passbook update. However, digital service such as ATMs, net banking, mobile banking and UPI will be completely operational. With this, you can do important work like online transaction and bill payment.
Banks will remain closed every Sunday i.e. 4, 11, 18 and 25 in May 2025. Apart from this, banking service will not be available on the second and fourth Saturdays of the month i.e. 10 and 24 May. Apart from this, banks will remain closed in some states on Buddha Purnima (May 12), State Day (May 16), Qazi Nazrul Jayanti (26 May), and Maharana Pratap Jayanti (May 29).
Customers are advised to settle the necessary banking work before the holidays. This can prevent any kind of trouble and your banking process will continue without any hindrance.
