According to the RBI calendar, all banks will remain closed on Saturday 5 July. Banks are going to be closed only due to Guru Hargobind ji’s birthday in Jammu and Srinagar. These festivals celebrate the Sikh community with great reverence and enthusiasm. However, banks will be open in all the rest of the states on Saturday 5 July. Banks will be open in all states like Delhi, UP, Punjab, Haryana.

July 5 (Saturday) – Jammu and Srinagar: Banks will remain closed due to Guru Hargobind ji’s birthday.
July 14 (Monday) – Meghalaya: Banks will remain closed on the festival of Bah Dankhakam.
July 16 (Wednesday) – Uttarakhand: Banks will remain closed on the occasion of Harela festival.
July 17 (Thursday) – Meghalaya: Banks will remain closed on the death anniversary of U Tirot Singh.
July 19 (Saturday) – Tripura: Banks will remain closed due to Ker Puja.
July 28 (Monday)-Sikkim: Banks will remain closed due to Draukpa Chhe-G festival.
Apart from this, all banks across the country will be closed on 13 July second Saturday and 27 July.
