On Monday 29 September, banks will remain closed due to Maha Saptami and Durga Puja in Agartala, Gangtok and Kolkata. Mahasaptami Durga Puja is considered to be the most special day. On this day, the seventh form of Maa Durga is worshiped and traditional rituals such as Ghatasthapana and sailing are performed in the pandals.
