Baloch leader Mir Yaar Baloch said that we are Balochishi, the Indian media and YouTubers Baloch, do not call Baloch.
Baloch leader Mir Yar Baloch announced the independence of Balochistan from Pakistan on Wednesday. He cited human rights abuses, kidnapping and violence of Baloch people for decades.
Mir Yar Baloch said in the X post- The people of Balochistan have given their “national decision” and the world should not remain silent anymore. Let us support us.
He wrote that Baloch people are on the streets and it is his national decision that Balochistan is not a part of Pakistan and the world cannot be a more silent spectator.
He sought recognition and support from India and Global community for the independence of Balochistan.
Pakistan is using Pok people like shield
Mir Yar appealed to Indian media, YouTubers and Indian intellectuals not to call Baloch people of Pakistan. We are Balochistani, not Pakistani. Pakistan’s own people are Punjabi, who never faced air bombing, kidnapping or genocide.
He supported India’s stance on Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir (POK). Appealed to the international community to pressurize Pakistan to vacate the region.
Mir Yaar said- India can beat the Pakistani Army. If Pakistan does not pay attention, then only the greedy generals of the Pakistani Army will be responsible for the bloodshed, as Islamabad is using the people of POK as a shield.
The total area of Pakistan is about 7.9 lakh sq km. If Balochistan separated in it, Pakistan will have only 4.5 lakh sq km left. The area of only one state of India Rajasthan is about three and a half million sq km.
Balochistan captured the help of foreign forces
According to Mir Yar Baloch, the world should not accept Pakistan’s claims on Balochistan. He said that Balochistan was forcibly captured with the help of foreign forces.
Balochistan has been having human rights abuses for a long time. The Pakistani army and police attack people. The reach of foreign media here is very limited, due to which the news related to Balochistan is not able to come out.
Bla is fighting for Balochistan’s independence
The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) is an organization fighting for the freedom of the Balochistan province of Pakistan. It was established in the early 2000s and has also been declared a terrorist organization by many countries.
BLA claims that Balochistan’s natural resources are being exploited and the rights of Baloch people have been taken away. This organization has been targeting CPEC like Pakistani Army, Government and Chinese Projects.
Bla is known for its guerrilla style. That is, hiding in the hilly areas and attacking the army and returning immediately.
Will Balochistan finally separate from Pakistan?
Pak Army Chief General Asim Munir said in a statement a few days ago that unrest has spread in Balochistan due to just 1500 people and he cannot spoil the professional army of millions of Pakistan.
British Human Right activist Peter Tachel believes that Pakistan can delay Balochistan’s independence, but it cannot be stopped forever. He compared the Baloch struggle to the movement of Vietnam.
Baloch writer Mir Yar says that Balochistan is now just two steps away from independence. Comparing it to the 1971 Bangladesh situation, he said that Pakistan’s Army and Intelligence Agencies are not accepting this reality.
