Balkrishna Industries Q3Fy25 increased by 47 per cent annually in the third quarter net profit, which was Rs 449.5 crore. In the last financial year, there was a net profit of Rs 305.4 in the same quarter. Its revenue stood at Rs 2560.3 crore, which is 12.6 percent more than Rs 2274.4 crore in the third quarter of the previous financial year.
The Ebitda margin increased to 24.8 per cent during the quarter, which was supported at a low rate of higher volumes and other expenses. Row (Rest of the World) category increased by 60 per cent on the annual basis and a 14 per cent increase in the US regions.
Balkrishna Industries Opinion of Brokerage
Brokerage House Nomura has expressed its opinion on the stock and advised to buy it. Brokerage said that it has a strong growth potential and its target price is Rs 3242, with a price of 22 per cent. However, in view of uncertain global demand macro, HDFC Securities and Brokerage are negative on stocks like Motilal Oswal.
HDFC Securities believes that there will be pressure on margin in the fourth quarter of FY 2025 as an increase in RM cost and freight cost (which increased in November and December 2024) may affect the financial situation. Brokerage has maintained its ‘Sell’ rating with a revised target of Rs 2092.
