Team India’s star batsman Virat Kohli was also on Australia tour. Where he performed very disappointingly. Due to which he has suffered huge losses in Test rankings. There used to be a time when no other batsman could surpass Virat Kohli, but now Virat Kohli’s ranking has deteriorated so much that he is on the verge of falling out of the top 30 in the Test rankings.

Pakistan’s star batsman Babar Azam has scored 193 runs at an average of 48.25 in 4 innings of the two-match Test series played against South Africa. He remained second in the list of batsmen scoring the most runs in this series. Due to which he has benefited in ranking. He has jumped 5 places. He has now reached 12th position. His rating points have increased to 697.
On the other hand, if we talk about Virat Kohli, he scored only 190 runs in 9 innings of 5 matches of the Test series played in Australia. Virat Kohli has lost three places. He has come to 27th position with 614 rating points. Virat Kohli is continuously slipping downwards. Virat Kohli may be out of top 30 in a few days.

If we take a look at the ICC Test rankings, the name of only one Indian player is in the top 4. Joe Root’s name is included in the first place in this ranking. England’s Harry Brook is at second place, New Zealand’s Kane Williamson is at third place, Yashasvi Jaiswal is at fourth place and Travis Head is at 5th place. After Yashasvi Jaiswal, Rishabh Pant has the best ranking among Indian players.
