A youth from Gurdaspur died of heart attack in Dubai. The young man had returned to Dubai some time ago to meet his family. The body of the youth was handed over to his family today with the help of Sarbat Da Bhala Trust.

The body of the youth from Gurdaspur reached Sri Guru Ramdas Ji International Airport today with the help of Dr. SP Singh Oberoi, a prominent Dubai businessman and patron of Sarbat Da Bhala Charitable Trust. The youth was 39-year-old Mandeep Singh, son of Satnam Singh, resident of village Kot Manjhalas in Gurdaspur district. He died of a heart attack 25 days ago. The body of the deceased was received by Sarbat Da Bhala Trust Punjab President Sukhjinder Singh Her, District President Shishpal Singh Ladi and General Secretary Manpreet Singh Sandhu and handed over to the family members.

Dr. SP Singh Oberoi told that Mandeep Singh, like other youth, had gone to Dubai for work a few years ago with dreams of a better future. Returned back to Dubai after meeting his family on 22 November. He died suddenly of a heart attack on 1 December.
Dr. Oberoi said that he contacted the victim’s family regarding this incident and asked to send Mandeep’s body to India. After which, with the help of the Indian Embassy, he completed all the necessary documents under the supervision of his personal assistant Baldeep Singh Chahal and brought Mandeep Singh’s body to India today. Dr. Oberoi also made it clear here that the family has borne the expenses of sending Mandeep Singh’s body to India.
Mandeep Singh’s brother-in-law Sandeep Singh and Jagdish Singh, uncle Gurmeet Singh, Harjeet Singh, Gurpreet Singh, Bikramjeet Singh etc. reached the airport to collect the body and said that Mandeep has left his elderly mother, sister and other family members crying.
