US President Joe Biden has condemned the Russian missile and drone attack on Ukraine on Wednesday. Biden alleged that Russia has targeted Ukraine’s energy grid through missile and drone attacks. Through this, Russia wants to cut off the electricity supply to Ukrainian people in winter.
Biden also reiterated his support for helping Ukraine. According to Biden, America has given hundreds of missiles to Ukraine in the last few months. He said that America will increase the supply of arms to Ukraine. Ukraine will soon be given a new batch of missiles. For this, the US Defense Department has been instructed to speed up the supply of missiles.
He also asked other countries of the world to help Ukraine. The US President said that the people of Ukraine have the right to live in peace and security. Biden said that we will continue to support Ukraine until it wins against Russia.

1 killed, 21 injured in Russian attack
Russia targeted many cities of Ukraine in its attack. According to the Ukrainian Air Force, Russia used 78 missiles and 106 drones for the attack. One person died in this attack, while 21 were injured.
According to Ukrainian media, the biggest attack was carried out on the city of Kharkiv. Apart from this, attacks were also made on Dnipro, Kremenchuk, Kryvyi Rih and Ivano-Frankivsk. Here residential areas including energy infrastructure were targeted.
According to local media, Russia has also attacked with ballistic missiles. Russia fired these missiles from the Black Sea. The governor of Kharkiv said that Russia fired at least 7 missiles at his city, injuring 6 people. Electricity supply has been stopped in many cities of Ukraine after the attack.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has called it ‘inhumane’. He said that Putin is not a human being. They deliberately chose Christmas Day for the attack.
