Amazon now in delhi: Now Amazon will also deliver in 10 minutes. E-commerce company Amazon has now launched the delivery service Amazon Now in Delhi in its 10 minutes. This service was first started in Bengaluru and is now available in some select pin codes in the capital Delhi. The company has said that in the coming months it will be further expanded in more areas.
What is Amazon Now?
Through Amazon Now, customers can order everyday essential items such as grocery, domestic product and personal care items in just 10 minutes. Amazon says that the same quality, security and trust will be taken care of in this service which is found on its main platform.
Good response from customers
According to the company, initially there has been a very positive response from customers, especially Amazon Prime members. In view of this, we are planning to increase this service in more areas soon.
Quick Commerce becomes a new trend
Customers in India are now expecting rapid delivery. Earlier, where 1-2 day delivery was considered normal, now consumers are demanding order delivery in a few minutes. In view of this trend, Flipkart also started its quick delivery service in the name of Flipkart Minutes, which has now started in 14 cities.
Not only grocery, now electronics too
Initially, Quick Commerce was just a focus on grocery, but now it has reached many more categories. Swiggy Instamart is now delivering smartphones in 10 cities. Platforms like Blinkit and Zepto have also entered a category like home appliances and consumer electronics.
Strong demand, but profit?
Despite rapid growing demand, earning profits for Quick Commerce companies is still a big challenge. Blinkit received 134% growth in the fourth quarter of FY25 but the company incurred a loss of Rs 178 crore. At the same time, Swiggy Instamart incurred a loss of Rs 840 crore, as it expanded its stores network.
Whose dominance is increasing?
According to a report by ICICI Securities, the market share of Blinkit and Instamart increased in the quarter of April to June 2025. Blinkit’s gross order value (GOV) increased by 25% and 22% of Instamart, while the growth of the entire sector was less than 20%.
Zepto’s condition weak
On the other hand, Zepto is facing difficulties. Its daily active users (DAUS) declined from 5.5 million in December 2024 to 4.9 million in June 2025. In comparison, Blinkit’s daus has increased to 6.2 million. Instamart’s new app acquired 1.1 million daus in June. The entry of Amazon Now in Delhi has increased competition in Quick Commerce sector.
