Air India’s Boeing 787 Dreamliner Plane crashed in Ahmedabad. The plane had 242 passenger riders including 53 British, 7 Portuguese and a Canadian citizen. The British PM Kir Stmper has expressed grief over the accident.

Air India flight number AI-171 flew from Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport in Ahmedabad at 1:38 pm. This plane crashed at 1:40 pm.

British PM said- scene of accident is very terrible

Britain’s Prime Minister Kir Stmper said in Parliament- “Many visuals of plane going to London carrying many British citizens in Ahmedabad are very terrible. I am being informed about every update. My condolences are with the victims.

At the same time, British MP Lucy Powell said that the British government will provide ‘all possible help’ to the people in the Air India aircraft. Speaking in Parliament, Powell said that there are many families who are waiting for their people to come. This is a matter of great concern. We express our deep condolences to all those families.

Britain’s Foreign Ministry also released a statement

The UK Foreign Ministry has said that it is trying to find out every aspect of the accident with local officials in India and help those involved in it. If a British citizen needs help from the consulat or they are worried about their friends or family, then they can call 020 7008 5000 number.

The pilot had an 8200 hour experience

According to FutureDar 24, the last signal of the aircraft was found at an altitude of 190 meters (625 ft), which was immediately after the flying. India’s Civil Aviation Regulator DGCA reported that the aircraft flew from runway 23 at 1:39 pm. After flying, the aircraft sent a medium call (emergency message) to the air traffic controller, but after that no reply was received.

According to DGCA, there were a total of 242 people in the aircraft, including two pilots and 10 cabin crew. The pilot had 8,200 hours and the co-pilot had 1,100 hours of flight experience.
