India The largest renewable energy company Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL) has crossed the records of the 12,000 MW (MW) operational portfolio. Agel is India’s first and only renewable energy company to reach this milestone. AGEL’s 12,258.1 MW portfolio includes 8,347.5 MW Solar, 1,651 MW Wind and 2.259.6 MW Wind-Solor Hybrid Capacity.

This milestone underlines Agel’s commitment to provide 50,000 MW clean, inexpensive and reliable electricity by 2030. 12,258.1 mW operational portfolio will provide electricity to more than 62 lakh houses and will save about 22.64 million tonnes of CO2 emissions every year. The emissions rescued are equal to the carbon absorbed by 1078 million trees.

World’s largest renewable energy plant in Khavda, Gujarat

Adani Green Energy is developing the world’s largest renewable energy plant of 30,000 MW on barren land in Khawda of Green Energy Kutch. Built in 538 square kilometers, this plant is five times the Paris -shaped five times and the city of Mumbai is as big as the city. After completion, it will be the world’s largest power plant in all energy sources. Adani Green Energy has so far operated the cumulative capacity of 2824.1 MW renewable energy in Khavda. Rapid development in Khawda underlines the company’s commitment to the target of 500 GW Non-Fuel Fuel Capacity of India by 2030.
