Now the Indian company Adani Airport Holdings has also joined this boys in the new episode. Competitors of PTI news, the company has abolished the ground handling concession agreement with the Turkish company Celebi for Mumbai and Ahmedabad Airport. The Indian company also said that Celebs have been directed to immediately hand over all ground handling facilities to the company to ensure uninterrupted operations.
Steps taken after this decision of central government
Competitors against the news, it was decided to abolish these concession agreements after the central government canceled the security approval of the Turkish aviation company. Adani Airport Holding Mumbai and Ahmedabad airports as well as Mangalore, Guwahati, Jaipur, Lucknow and Thiruvananthapuram Airport owe and operate.
A spokesman for the Adani Airport Holdings said in a statement that after the Government of India’s decision to cancel Celebi’s security approval, we have abolished the ground handling concession agreements with Celebi at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport in Mumbai and Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel of Ahmedabad at the International Airport.
Existing employees will be shifted
A spokesman for the Adani Airport Holdings said that the company said it would continue to provide uninterrupted service to all airlines without any disruption through the new ground handling agencies elected. The company said, “Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport and Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport will be shifted to all the existing Celebi employees at the new ground handling agencies on the basis of his current terms and employment.” Ground handling operations at our airports will be unaffected. We are fully committed to maintaining the highest standards of service and national interest.
