Accused Nikita Singhania and her mother and brother got bail in Atul Subhash suicide case, Bengaluru court gave relief.

Bengaluru: Accused Nikita Singhania, her mother Nisha and brother have got bail in the AI ​​engineer Atul Subhash suicide case. Bengaluru City Civil Court granted bail to Nikita Singhania, Nisha Singhania and Anurag Singhania. Subhash’s wife Nikita Singhania, his mother Nisha Singhania and brother Anurag Singhania had approached the Bengaluru sessions court seeking bail in the case. He had earlier appealed to the Karnataka High Court to direct the sessions court to dispose of his bail plea. The High Court had directed the Sessions Court to dispose of the petition today itself.

The decision will be challenged in the higher court

Atul Subhash’s lawyer said that after the order copy comes, this decision will be challenged in the High Court. The three accused had applied for bail in the lower court on December 19 and had also approached the High Court. On the instructions of the Vacation Bench of the High Court, the Civil Court gave its verdict today. In this case, Nikita and other accused have also filed a petition in the Karnataka High Court demanding cancellation of the FIR, which will be heard on January 6.

Was arrested on 14 December 2024

Karnataka Police arrested Nikita Singhania from Gurugram on 14 December 2024, while his mother and brother Anurag were arrested from Prayagraj. All three are accused of instigating Atul Subhash to commit suicide.

Committed suicide on December 9

Let us tell you that the body of Atul Subhash (34) was found hanging at his house in Munnekolalu, south-east Bengaluru on December 9. Subhash had alleged in a video and a 24-page suicide note that his estranged wife and in-laws forced him to commit suicide by implicating him in false cases and continuously harassing him. Before committing suicide, Subhash made a 90-minute video and wrote a 40-page suicide note expressing his grief. Atul Subhash and Nikita were married in 2019. Both of them also had a son in 2020. Atul Subhash was a resident of Bihar while Nikita was a resident of Jaunpur district of UP.
