In the press release released by Jio Star, it was reported that Jio Hotstar has achieved digital rights for this series. Jio Hotstar has tied up for digital streaming with Sony Entertainment Network or Kalwar Max Entertainment Private Limited. This means that now mobile and laptop users will be able to watch live broadcast of all matches of this series on Jio Hotstar. Earlier, the digital rights of the Test series played in England were only with Sony LIV.
Series will be broadcast live on this channel on TV
Sony Sports Network and Jio Star have signed only on digital streaming. The series on TV will be broadcast on Sony Sports Network. Let us tell you that Sony had achieved broadcasting rights of England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) in 2024 last year. The agreement was done till 2031. With this deal, it became clear that all the series in England will be broadcast on Sony Network in India.
India-England series schedule
The first Test match of the series between India and England will be played at the Handingley Leeds. The next Test will then be played from 2 to 6 July at Edgbaston Cricket Ground in Birmingham. The third Test will take place on the Mecca Lord’s (July 10 to July 14) of cricket. The fourth Test will be hosted Manchester which will be played from 23 July to 27 July. At the same time, the fifth and final match of the series will be played from 31 July to 4 August at The Oval, London.
