According to the World Economic Forum, the ‘Crystal Award’ is given to people who have made significant contributions to advancing social, environmental and creative progress around the world. The awards ceremony was followed by an opening ceremony featuring a presentation on the theme of glacier conservation with classical music, electronic compositions and AI-generated visualizations. The United Nations has declared 2025 as the International Year of Glacier Conservation. The presentation highlighted the urgent environmental crisis facing Antarctica, where 91 percent of the world’s glaciers are located. Apart from business leaders and government leaders from around the world, this meeting is also attended by many eminent people from the fields of art, culture, entertainment and civil society every year.
