How to make gram dal chutney?

First step- To make chana dal chutney, you will need chana dal, red chilli, mustard oil, asafoetida, mustard seeds, cumin, curry leaves, urad dal, turmeric and salt.
Second step- Put mustard oil in the pan and heat it. Now add gram dal and red chilli in hot oil and fry both these things well.
Third step- When the lentils are roasted well, then you have to add asafoetida, cumin, grated ginger, urad dal and curry leaves in the pan and fry all these things.
Fourth step- After this, you have to put all these roasted things in the mixer and grind them finely. Now your chutney is almost ready.
Fifth step- Transfer the chutney from the mixer to a bowl. To enhance the taste of chutney, add mustard and cumin seeds to it.
