Maruti Suzuki launched its electric car e VITARA on Friday in India’s largest automobile expo i.e. Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. The high efficiency battery pack installed in the car gives a range of more than 500 kilometers on full charge. It has a 61 kilowatt battery. The company said that there is fast charging support in more than 100 cities in the country. You will get a smart home charger with the car. The company has said that the production of the new e VITARA will take place at the Gujarat plant in the coming months.

E Vitara is equipped with 7 airbags. The company says that the interior of this car is the best in its segment. However, the company has not given information about the price of this SUV. It is estimated that its starting price could be between Rs 15 to 20 lakh.
Company’s first electric car
The company announced that it planned to export the e Vitara to more than 100 countries, including Europe and Japan. This is Maruti Suzuki’s first electric vehicle for India. It will compete with Tata Curve EV, MG ZS EV, Hyundai Creta EV and Mahindra BE06.
SUV size
The E Vitara measures 4,275 mm in length, 1,800 mm in width and 1,635 mm in height. Its wheelbase is 2,700 mm. Also the ground clearance is 180 mm. The weight of the SUV is up to 1,900 kg. The rear and side profile includes 18-inch alloy wheels, C-pillar-mounted door handles, roof spoiler and tail lamps styled in lightbar design.
The interior of the car gives a new look
The look of the interior of e-Vitara is completely new. It has dual screens for the instrument cluster and infotainment, floating center console and two-spoke flat-bottom steering wheel. It includes Level 2 ADAS and seven airbags. The e-Vitara has a dual-tone dashboard, which makes it quite attractive.
