New Delhi: PM Modi dedicated 3 flagship warships of the Navy INS Surat, INS Nilgiri and INS Waghshir to the nation at the Navy Dockyard in Mumbai. On this occasion, the PM said that the new warships will strengthen the security of the nation. Today India is taking a big step towards strengthening the Navy. Our Navy has saved the lives of hundreds of people.
The PM said that all three armies have adopted the mantra of self-reliance. India moves forward with the spirit of development, not expansionism. He also said that today India is being recognized as a reliable and responsible partner throughout the world and especially in the Global South.
Warships are made in India
PM said that the world’s trust in India is increasing. We consider the whole world as family. The PM said that it is a matter of pride that all three frontline naval personnel are Made in India. Today’s India is emerging as a major maritime power in the world.
The PM said that today is a big day for India’s maritime heritage, the glorious history of the Navy and the Self-reliant India campaign. On the sacred land of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, we are taking a huge step towards strengthening the 21st century Navy. This is the first time that a destroyer, a frigate and a submarine, all three are working together.
The PM also mentioned Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and said that he had given new strength and vision to the Navy. It is noteworthy that the induction of three major naval combat ships into the fleet is a major contribution to India’s defense sector, which will take India on the path to becoming a global leader in defense manufacturing and maritime security.
