There is a wave of happiness on the faces of the investors of Sahara India Group as the Central Government has started the process of giving refunds to the investors after the order of the Supreme Court. Investors deposited in the four main operative societies of Sahara Group will soon get their money back. To facilitate this process, the government has launched a completely online claim portal on the official website of CRCS (Central Registrar of Cooperative Societies) https://mocrefund.crcs.gov.in/depositor/. With this, investors will no longer need to go anywhere or visit agents.
To claim refund, investors will have to first register on the CRCS portal. For registration, Aadhaar number, mobile number, and a captcha code have to be filled. After this the OTP sent on the mobile has to be verified. If the investor does not have Aadhar link then it is necessary to link Aadhar first. On completion of registration, OTP verification will have to be done by selecting the depositor login option and entering the last four digits of Aadhaar, mobile number and captcha. After this, you have to select the name of your society in the claim form and enter the deposit amount, passbook, and certificate number. If the investor has invested in all four societies, then only one form can be filled for all.
CRCS Sahara Refund Portal is a government initiative aimed at providing refund of their deposits to depositors invested in Sahara India in a seamless and transparent manner. Till now thousands of investors have got their money back and the government is completing this process rapidly. Investors should visit the portal and apply for their refund as soon as possible so that they can be a part of this benefit.
This initiative of the government is playing an important role in re-establishing the confidence of investors and ensuring the return of stranded funds. Investors are advised to use only the official portal and not to trust any unofficial agents or persons. Through this scheme, Sahara investors can now easily get their money back and take a big step towards financial security.
