Silver rate: Gold and silver prices have suffered a setback as soon as Sharadiya Navratri ends with Dussehra. The fast has stopped and now the decline has started. Talking about silver, on 3 October, the delivery silver contract in December fell by Rs 2759 to Rs 141961 per kg in the early trade on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX).
Earlier, during the Shardiya Navratri, silver created a new peak almost every day. On October 1, the price closed at Rs 144720 per kg on MCX. On October 1 in the bullion market of Delhi, the price was stable at Rs 1,50,500 per kg. This is its record high.
