The country’s largest private bank HDFC bank demands ₹ 2,500 in rural branches and ₹ 10,000 in urban branches, which is much less than ICICI.

The minimum balance in IDFC First Bank ranges from ₹ 10,000 to ₹ 25,000, depending on which category the account falls.
