Fastag: If you drive on the highway, then you must have put a fastag on your vehicle. This is a sticker which is associated with radio-frequency technology. Due to this, the money is deducted from your bank account directly without stopping at the toll plaza. But if you want to take the service of another bank or there is any problem in the current bank, now you can easily transfer your fastag to another bank.
Why do people want to transfer fastag?
Sometimes some banks ban the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). If your fastag is connected to a bank that is banned, it will not work.
According to the Forest Fastag One Vehicle Rules, only one fastag will be valid for a car as per the new rule of the National Highway Authority of India (NHAI). If you have taken fastag from different banks for the same vehicle, only the last one will work.
Fastag banks want to change the account due to account inactive or poor service. Sometimes your fastag account stops due to lack of balance or not being used for a long time. Or you are not satisfied with the service of a bank. In such a situation, choosing a new bank is a better option.
