PM kisan 20th installment: The farmers are still waiting for the 20th installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Nidhi (PM-Kisan) scheme. The previous installment was released in February 2025. Accordingly, the 20th installment was to be found in June itself. However, due to some technical reasons, delay in payment is being seen this time.
How long will the 20th installment come?
Media reports estimated that Prime Minister Narendra Modi can release a installment of ₹ 2,000 in this month. PM Modi is going to visit Bihar around 19 July. It is expected that PM Modi will release 20th installment from Bihar itself and the beneficiaries will send Rs 2000-2000 to the farmers’ account. However, this has not been confirmed by the government at present.

Under the PM-Kisan Yojana, the eligible farmers are given direct assistance of ₹ 2,000 every four months. To continue the benefit of the scheme, farmers have to complete their E-KYC, it is necessary to link Aadhaar to the bank account and there should be no mistake in the land records.
This time a large number of payment is stuck due to disturbances in land details. The most rejections are due to the entry of the wrong state or district. In such cases, farmers can improve the PM-Kisan portal using the ‘State Transfer Request’ option or seek assistance from the close Common Service Center (CSC).
E-KYC will not get payment without e-Ky
PM-Kisan’s official website (PMKISAN.GOV.IN) clearly states that farmers whose E-Kyc has not been completed will not get the next installment. Farmers can complete this process through OTP, biometric or face authentication.

Farmers can check on the PM Kisan portal whether their name is in the beneficiary list or not. Also, make sure that all the information related to Aadhaar, bank account and land is recorded correct.
