US President Donald Trump on Monday threatened to put a heavy tariff to pressurize Russia to end the war with Ukraine. Trump said- I use trade for many things, but this war is great to end.
Trump said that if Russia did not signed a peace agreement in 50 days, it would be charged 100%. Trump reported that this would be “secondary tariff”, which means that the countries who buy oil from Russia, such as India and China, will also be banned.
Trump held a meeting with NATO General Secretary Mark Rute at the Oval Office at the White House. During this, Trump also announced to give more weapons to Ukraine. He said that Ukraine needs weapons to avoid Russia’s attacks.
Trump said that under his planning, European countries will buy weapons from America and give it to Ukraine. Ukraine may be given the Patriot missile system, short-range missiles, Howitzer shells and air-to-air missiles of middle range.
Trump expressed displeasure over Putin and said- I thought we had signed a peace agreement four times, but the war continued. I am not responsible for the war, but now I am working to finish.

Secondary tariffs will have an impact on countries buying oil from Russia A White House official told CNN that these “secondary tariffs” would target the countries buying oil from Russia, as there is very little trade between the US and Russia. This can have a major impact on Russia’s economy.
NATO US ambassador Matt Whitekar said- these restrictions do not target Russia directly, but will influence countries that buy oil from Russia. This step has been taken to weaken Russia’s economy.
Trump also expressed displeasure at Russian President Vladimir Putin. Trump said, “My conversation with Putin is good, but missiles are fired at night.”
Trump said- Amazing energy in Europe NATO General Secretary Mark Rute described this weapon agreement as a game-changer in a meeting with Trump. He expressed the possibility of being involved in arms supply to countries like Germany, Finland, Denmark, Sweden and Norway.
Trump praised Europe and said- I did not think earlier that there is so much excitement in Europe, but his energy is amazing.
