Share Market: Once again sharp fluctuations were seen in the stock market on Wednesday 8th January. Sensex fell by 600 points in early trade. Whereas Nifty fell below 23,500. The situation was even worse in the broader market. Both BSE midcap and smallcap indices fell by about 1.4 per cent. The biggest decline was seen in consumer durables, power, banking, financials, utility and capital goods stocks.
