To prevent illegal migrants from acquiring sensitive documents such as Aadhaar, the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has decided to tighten the Aadhaar rules. Under this, UIDAI has decided to use the online database of passports, ration cards, birth and matriculation certificates for the basis of adults in future. An official said that now it will be difficult to get the basis for any illegal immigrant as strict changes are being made in the Aadhaar enrollment process.
UIDAI has decided to take strict measures to enroll adults and to keep the base reliable. For Aadhaar update, passport ration card was used online database of birth and matriculation certificates. Assembly elections are to be held in Bihar. Earlier, the work of updating voter list is going on there, on which there is a sharp tip between the opposition and the government. The opposition has dragged the government to the Supreme Court on this issue. During the hearing, the Election Commission clarified that the Aadhaar card is not the proof of citizenship but the proof of ID.

Aadhaar enrollment or update will not be easy for adults
