India’s Union Minister Kiren Rijiju supported the Dalai Lama’s statement on 3 July. Rijiju had said that the Dalai Lama should have the right to choose its successor. China expressed displeasure over this statement.
China said on Friday- India should be careful on issues related to Tibet. China also said that the successor of the Dalai Lama will have to take approval of the Chinese government. Chinese laws, rules as well as religious rituals and historical traditions have to be followed.
Dalai Lama said- 40 years will be alive
The Dalai Lama has said that he hopes that he will be 40 years more alive till the age of 130. Lama said that he has worked hard so far. With the blessings of the Lord, it is expected that they will live 30-40 years more and will continue to serve Buddha religion and creatures.
Lama has said this a few days after his recent desire to be born (rebirth) after his death. After his statement, there has also been a ban on long -standing speculation about his successor.

Tenjin Gyatso had said that the trust has the right to the next Dalai Lama’s identity and recognition. No other person, organization or government can interfere in this process.
China cannot even appoint The Dalai Lama had said that no one other than the trust could appoint the next Dalai Lama. This announcement put an end to the discussions that China was said to have appointed the 15th Dalai Lama itself after the death of the current Dalai Lama.

Peenpa Shering also said that currently the policies of the Chinese government are trying to eradicate Tibetan identity, language and religion. The government of Xi Jinping is targeting the cultural and religious roots of Tibetan people.

He claimed that in the year 1793, the King Dynasty started the Golden Arn process. Under it, China itself has the right to approve the Dalai Lama’s successor.
