The sudden flood in the Guadalup river after heavy rains in the US state of Texas on Friday killed 32 people, while about 27 girls are missing.
There was a summer camp of girls near the Gwadalup river, which was hit by floods. Officials said that in just 45 minutes the water level of the river increased by 26 feet (8 meters), causing the houses and vehicles to flow.
Girls missing from helicopters, boats and drones are being searched. Many more people are expected to disappear. More than 850 people have also been rescued in the overnight rescue operation.
Texas Governor Dan Patrick said that the rescue team is working. In which nine rescue teams, 14 helicopters and 12 drones are being used.
Camp Mystic near Karvil, which is a girls summer camp, completely drowned in floods. 750 girls present in the camp have been rescued.
The camp does not have electricity and many children are still waiting for the rescue. Officials said it is difficult to tell the exact figure of how many people are missing.
