For this, it was directed to call a meeting of Joint Action Group on agriculture as soon as possible. PM Modi emphasized strength in India’s health and medicine sector, especially on the production of cheap medicines with high quality.

He demanded a change in the rules from Argentina to easily bring Indian medicines to the market, so that the people of Argentina can get cheap and life -saving medicines. Argentina gave information about fast clearance for import of Indian medicines.

Energy and Minerals: The two leaders discussed cooperation in energy and mineral sector. Emphasizing India’s growing energy and industrial needs, PM Modi said that Argentina can become a reliable partner of India. Argentina has the second largest shell gas reserves in the world.

Along with this, there are huge reserves of lithium, copper and other minerals. They can meet the needs of India’s clean energy and industrial development. Indian companies such as Coal India Limited and Kabil have made five agreements for lithium mining in Argentina.

Space Sector: India and Argentina have a strong partnership in the space field. Argentina’s first satellite was launched in 2007 with the help of the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO). Both leaders want to further strengthen this cooperation.
