President Donald Trump’s tax and expenditure bill passed on Thursday from the lower house of the US Parliament (House of Representatives). 218 people voted in support of the bill, while 214 people cast their votes.
Trump’s own party’s two MPs, Thomas Masi and Brian Fitzpatrick, voted against the bill. Trump and Ilon Musk had sharp statements against each other about this bill.
The bill was passed by a slight margin in the upper house of the US Parliament two days ago. Vice-President JD Vance cast a decisive vote for this bill.

Musk described Trump’s bill as madness
Ilon Musk had once again criticized Trump’s Big Beautiful Bill on Saturday. Musk wrote on X on Saturday- ‘This bill of Trump will end millions of jobs in America and will cause a big strategic loss to our country.’
Musk said, ‘It is completely filled with insanity and destructive. This law gives concession to old industries, but will destroy future industries. Musk resigned as the head of the Government Efficiency Department in the Trump administration last month.
Trump had said- Musk will have to return to Africa if the subsidy is closed
After this tweet by Musk, Trump had said- If the subsidy to Musk is stopped, he will have to close his shop (company) and return to South Africa.
Trump said that neither Tesla will be able to produce electric cars, nor will SpaceX rockets, satellites be launched due to the closure of subsidy.
Trump claimed that Musk had received as much money as a government subsidy, as much as no one else got. He suggested that DOGE should check the details of the case. This will save the country’s money.
The US President said- Musk was well known that I was against EV Mandate long before I supported me for the presidency. Electric vehicles are good, but it is wrong to force every human to buy them.
