Israel started a war against Hamas in Gaza in October 2023.
US President Donald Trump has said that Israel has agreed to cease a 60 -day ceasefire in Gaza.
Trump said that during this time an attempt will be made to end the war with all the parties. He warned Hamas that the situation would worsen if he did not accept this agreement.
Trump said that Qatar and Egypt would deliver the final proposal of this agreement to Hamas. Both these countries have been trying to bring peace for a long time.
Trump posted on social media and wrote,
My people today had a good conversation with Israeli officials about Gaza. Israel has accepted a 60 -day ceasefire. Now we will try to end the war by interacting with all the parties. Hopefully, Hamas will accept this proposal, because it will not give a better chance. If you miss this time, the situation will be worse.
Trump has done this post on his own social media platform Truth social.
Israeli PM Netanyahu will go to America next week
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will visit Washington DC next Monday. Here he will meet US President Donald Trump at the White House. This information has been given by news agency AP to a US administration official.
Netanyahu’s visit is taking place immediately after Israeli’s visit to Washington’s Washington. Dermer had talked to American officials last week on Gaza Ceasefire, Iran and other issues.
Last week, on Friday, Trump told the media that Gaza would be ceasefire within the next one week.
Netanyahu had earlier visited the US in January. He was the first guest in Trump’s second term.

The struggle between Hamas-Israel continues for 21 months. Hamas attacked Israel on 7 October 2023. According to Israeli data, 1,200 people were killed and 251 hostage were held in this attack.

According to this, if Israel does not remove restrictions, then 1 out of every 5 person in Gaza can be hit by starvation. Also, 21 lakh people may have to face famine.
A day before Trump’s swearing in was a ceasefire
Donald Trump was ceased a day before the swearing in between Israel-Hamas on 19 January. In which in three phases, the two sides agreed to release each other’s hostages.
The first phase of the ceasefire ended on 1 March. In the first phase, Hamas left 33 hostage, including 8 bodies. At the same time, Israel released 2 thousand Palestinian prisoners.
The conversation between Israel and Hamas on the second phase of the ceasefire has not started yet.
